LVX SYSTEM SIGNS SPACE ACT AGREEMENT WITH NASA FOR RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OF PIONEERING BROADBAND TECHNOLOGY

KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, FL - LVX System, the world's leader in Visible Light Communication (VLC), has entered into a Space Act Agreement (SAA) with NASA to research and develop applications of LVX System's patented VLC technology for use on NASA missions including future journeys to deep space.

A Space Act Agreement is a legal agreement specified in the National Aeronautics and Space Act of 1958 (and subsequent congressional authorizations) that uniquely empowers NASA to work with any entity that enables fulfillment of the Administration's mandate.

The SAA was signed by LVX System Chairman and CEO, John Pederson, and Kennedy Space Center Director, Robert Cabana, at KSC Headquarters in Florida on July 30.

LVX System has changed the way that the world sees light by harnessing light photons to carry high speed data through the visible light spectrum adding to the noticeably higher quality of the light that we see and use every day. This VLC technology which was invented and patented by John Pederson is a full duplex communication using the medium of photons rather than traditional radio waves.

"Applications of our LVX Technology aboard NASA spacecraft will improve the safety, comfort and quality of life for future astronauts as they journey to asteroids, Mars and any other destinations our great nation should choose to explore."

LVX System was established in St. Cloud, Minnesota; however, moved its headquarters to the Kennedy Space Center in order to partner with NASA to further research and develop their patented technology.
